I think that it is more pragmatic and eros types of love which are most prevalent in society today. This is only my opinion, but I have noticed it and I suppose maybe myself have pushed towards those types of love when out looking for it. Pragmatic seems to be prevalent because it seems like people do worry more about a buisness type of investment in relationships and the career goals of a signficant other, but they do have this overlying theme that they would like to have a love that will be worthwhile and a good long term "investment" so to speak. So, I think passion is still there, but just in different ways then it was 50 years ago.
