I agree with Ginny. We do like those who are similar to us, and I think that is the main reason we have the friends that we do. We also like people that are different from us, and we find things in them things that we wouldn't normally find in people similar to us, and these differences have an influence on us as a person. I also agree that we do get sick of people that we are around all the time. My junior year I thought it would be a good idea to move off campus with some of my friends who I was close with, only to find out that moving in with some of them ruined our relationship for many reasons; one of them being roomates who concidered themselves "macho-men". I am the complete opposite of that, and it ended up making my living experience horrible. Our differences did not bother me when i was not living with them, but being around them too much just drove me up the wall. I am also the kind of individual who likes hanging out with girls more then I like hanging out with guys, because girls are a lot less confrontational in my mind, which relates to the type of person that I am.
