Apparently I hit 'enter' instead of 'tab' there, whoops. Anyway, what timing! I came across an article on Rueters today in their "Oddly Enough" section. It's about using body odor traces left at crime scenes to later i.d. criminals. The samples are taken and stored at freezing temperatures in the body odor bank. They didn't really address this in the article, but do you think that it's possible to actually determine a person's gender and sexuality by their scent? If everyone has a body odor that can be stored and identified for up to three years, how much information could be collected about that person just from their scent?
